    Christmas Punch with Hibiscus and Tamarind 

    This delicious drink, warm and full of spices, is a traditional drink served for Christmas and New Year. When you make it, the aroma becomes very festive with a twist of fruit and flowers using Natura’s Foods Hibiscus and Tamarindo mix.




    • Prepare Hibiscus and Tamarind mix according to directions ( 1 bag yields half a gallon or 8 glasses of 8 oz each)
    • Cut the orange into 8 sections and insert one clove into each section 
    • In a large pot, add 2 cups of prepared hibiscus and 2 cups prepared tamarind. Add 12 oz water, brown sugar, cinnamon stick, and orange slices with cloves. Mix well.
    • Add sliced apples, prunes and raisins. Keep stirring.
    • Cook at low heat for 20 minutes or until fruit is tender (but not mushy)
    • Serve punch with fruit at the bottom
