    Tamarind Pie

    The sweet and sour Tamarind flavor is perfect for desserts, a perfect choice for a summer day!

    Ingredients:

    • 1 bag Natura’s Tamarind mix 
    • 1 can condense milk (390 grs)
    • 1 Package cream cheese (225 grs)
    • 3 eggs
    • Puff pastry

    Directions: 

    • Prepare Tamarind mix by adding the powder to water to make half a gallon  (1 bag yields half a gallon or 8 cups of 8 ounces each. ) 
    • Boil 1/2 cup Tamarind mix until reduced 
    • In blender, mix condensed milk, cream cheese, eggs, and reduced Tamarind mix
    • Roll puff pastry on a floured board 
    • Put the rolled pastry on a pie dish , press edges
    • Pour Tamarind mix and bake for 50 minutes at 350o
    • Let it cool off before serving
